Jay is the founder of Maier Forest and Tree and is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist (#MN-0403B). He earned his B.S. in Forestry from the University of Missouri. Since graduating in 1993, Jay was an Arborist for the Davey Tree Company, a Consulting Forester in southeast Iowa, and the City Forester in Rochester, MN. His experience in traditional and urban forestry gives him a well rounded perspective on trees. |

Lisa is the Maier Forest and Tree Office Manager and the voice of the company when customers call the office. Her attention to detail, premier customer service and ability to take on new tasks frees the rest of the staff up to do what they do best - taking care of trees. |

Nathan Runke is our Plant Health Specialist. He is an ISA Certified Arborist (#MN-4174A). He earned his Urban Forestry degree (B.S.) from the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. Nate was the assistant to the City Forester in Rochester and knows Rochester’s trees. He is experienced in tree inventory using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and managing epidemic pests such as Dutch Elm Disease and Oak Wilt. |

He earned his B.S. in Grounds Maintenance from Central Missouri State University. Josh Jobes
Josh is a Production Arborist. He has been with Maier Forest and Tree for three years. His problem solving abilities have set him apart as one of the best in the industry at climbing and removing technically challenging trees.

Justin Madsen is an Arborist Trainee. He earned his Associates degree in Horticulture from Rochester Community and Technical College. Justin has been learning the skills of arboriculture at Maier Forest and Tree for nearly 2 years and aspires to be a Certified Arborist as soon as possible. |
