Jay is the founder of Maier Forest and tree. He earned his B.S. in Forestry from the University of Missouri. Since graduating in '93 Jay was an Arborist for the Davey Tree Company, a Consulting Forester in southeast Iowa, and the City Forester in Rochester, MN. His experience in traditional and urban forestry gives him a well rounded perspective on trees.

Lisa is our Office Manager.  If you call our office, she is the voice of our company.  Her attention to detail and ability to take on new tasks frees the rest of the staff up to do what they do best; take care of trees.

Nathan Runke earned his Urban Forestry degree (B.S.) from the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. Nate has worked as the assistant to the City Forester in Rochester and knows Rochester's trees well. He is experienced in tree inventory using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and managing epidemic pests such as Dutch Elm Disease and Oak Wilt. Nate enjoys spending his free time outdoors.

Dave is our General Foreman and Production Manager.  His is an ISA Certified Arborist and has been working around trees for over a decade.  His passion for working with trees and his ability to manage crews allows us to apply the best management practices to our every day work.

Mark is a Production Foreman and Salesperson.  He earned his B.S. in Grounds Maintenance from Central Missouri State University.  Mark played a key role in a growing tree company in Kansas City for 4 years prior to coming here.  His well-rounded perspective on soils, trees and turf help us as a company to better understand the issues facing most homeowners.

Adam is an ISA Certified Arborist and has an Associates degree in Natural Resources Technology – Forestry/Wildlife.  Adam's skill in the tree and his goal of perfection sets him apart among Arborists.
